With the concerns about coronavirus and COVID-19, we want to assure you that Statcare is doing everything possible to protect the safety and well-being of our wonderful team of healthcare providers so they can continue to serve you. We have taken specific measures across all seven Statcare facilities and are ready and prepared to take care of you and your family.

Two weeks ago, we set up a dedicated team of experts and COVID-19 Command Center who are actively monitoring and working closely with state and national experts focused on this important health issue.

We also ask that you consider alternative options such as Telemedicine from Statcare. Our Telehealth services allow you to be seen by an online doctor from your own home, 7 days a week. When you visit www.statcarewalkin.com, you can live chat with our staff from your mobile phone and schedule the Telemedicine or an in-person appointment at any of our seven urgent care facilities in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn and Bronx.

Keep in mind, because coronavirus symptoms are very similar to those of the flu and common cold — you should consider getting a diagnosis from our healthcare professionals. To protect the most vulnerable, and out of an abundance of caution, we are requesting that only the person(s) wanting to be seen enter the patient care rooms in our clinics. Others should probably wait in the reception area. It is also important to ensure you stay at home until the diagnosis is confirmed in 2-3 days. Also, meanwhile, you should avoid going out into the public.

At Statcare, we don’t expect that the COVID-19 crisis will be short-lived.
