Statcare is staffed by experienced Emergency Room Providers. We know how to take care of your orthopedic problem! If you need a follow-up appointment with an orthopedic surgeon or an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand surgery, we can get you seen the next business day. If you need an MRI, we can get that arranged for you as well. All our X-Rays are read by a Radiologist. If you need the X-Ray images on a CD, we can give that to you as well so your orthopedic surgeon can review it in his office.

What are X-Rays? X-radiation is also called Röntgen radiation, after Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen, who discovered it and named it X-radiation since it was an unknown type of radiation. The images can be digitally enhanced for better viewing such as changing the contrast to differentiate tissues from adjacent structures. This is important in orthopedic problems. |
